Dearly one-day-to-be departed, we have gathered together works of art for this exhibition investigating funerals and the subject of mortality. The contributing artists offer an array of avenues for considering rituals surrounding death. From personal shrines to memento mori, from critique of the funerary industry to communicating with the dead, the works on display reflect differing perspectives on the funereal, staging our mortality through the lens of those still living.
